Teaching Trip, Andernach, Germany

January 4-8

We had an average of almost forty students per night at our Christology course.  What we believe about Jesus Christ is central to our faith as Christians.  This course was a thorough Biblical study of Christological truths with special attention being paid to defending these truths against false teaching from the first century to current day.

January 9-10

Serbia is a nation of twelve million people who need Jesus in the most desperate way.  Only one tenth of one percent of the population across the country are "born-again" Christians.  We are excited to announce that we have added a new full time missionary in Serbia.  Mr. Danko Dudok.  Please pray for Danko as he leads this ministry in Serbia.

Youth Camp, Andernach, Germany:  June 4-11, 2012

City Church in Andernach, Ringstrasse Church in Neuwied, and LOEM will be working together to hold a youth camp in the region early this Summer.  We have been working together to hold several youth camps over the years, beginning in 2000.  As a result of these camps, we have seen literally hundreds of people come to Christ.  Dr. Steger will be taking a small group of students from Wingate, University in North Carolina to be a part of this camp.  They will be flying out of Charlotte, NC, on June 4th arriving in Frankfurt, Germany on the morning of June 5th.  The group will travel by van to Andernach, Germany where they will be staying in homes of our German partners and at the camp for the week.  These students will be involved in leading small groups, support work for recreation ministry, clean up work, and anything else that might be needed.  We will return to Charlotte on June 11th.  If you are interested in participating in this project, please email Dr. Steger to let him know of your interest at ksteger@loem.org

Soccer Camp, Belfast, Northern Ireland:  July 10-15, 2012

LOEM will be sending several soccer players and coaches to Northern Ireland in July to lead in a reconciliation ministry between the Catholics and Protestants in the region.  We also seek to be involved in evangelistic efforts while there.  We hope this will be the beginning of a new vital ministry for LOEM.
